Not only was their new great grandchild waiting for them in Winnipeg, but many of their old friends as well as the rest of their family. This includes their many children and grandchildren, who are proudly displayed on Sam and Debby’s walls. However, moving from Ottawa to Winnipeg wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows. At their stage of life, the move proved physically demanding, and they had to push through many long days of packing and hauling. Despite all this, Debby says her daughter was right in thinking Sagewood Estates would be perfect for them, and that this lifestyle suits them perfectly.
Sam and Debby’s Story in Their Own Words:
With the help of our daughter, who is a Realtor in Winnipeg, my husband and I bought our condo at Sagewood Estates sight unseen, as we were still living in Ottawa at the time. We loved many things about it, including the exterior, the sunroom, the open concept, and the fact that it had 3 bedrooms.
