2021: A Year in Review for StreetSide Winnipeg

The snow is falling, and temperatures are starting to dip – all signs that another year is coming to an end. 2021 was one of the busiest years on record. The housing market in Manitoba has seen unprecedented demand, which was no exception for us at StreetSide Winnipeg. We are so thankful for everyone who put their faith in us as homebuilders and purchased a StreetSide home this past year. With the high demand, also came supply chain and labour shortages, which has been a challenge for everyone in our industry. We are extremely thankful for the patience and trust exhibited by our homeowners.

Here is a little recap on what 2021 looked like for StreetSide Developments Winnipeg:

SOLD OUT IN 2021

  • Couture West Condominiums in Ridgewood West has been one of our fastest selling townhome communities to date. Our entire development sold out in record time, and we are now just putting the finishing touches on the last building, getting ready for our final homeowners to take possession. Congratulations to all our homeowners.

  • 325 Park East Condominiums in Bridgwater also was officially sold out this past Summer. The four building townhome complex offered 1-3 bedroom layouts at an affordable price point right in the heart of Bridgwater Centre.

  • Hudson Townhomes North in Devonshire Village saw its last townhome sold in the Spring. We are also down to our final suites in its apartment-style counterpart, Hudson Condominiums, which offers 1 & 2 bedroom suites with underground heated parking. Anyone looking to move into these popular condominiums with amenities such as fitness facility & common lounge should act fast, as we are down to our final remaining units.

NEW PROJECTS LAUNCHED IN 2021

  • Vue Tache Condominiums in St. Boniface: This luxury concrete development located at 780 Tache Ave. launched in January 2021 and came out of the gate with a bang. Within the first week of the project launching, over 25 units were sold and the sales have been steady ever since. First possessions at Vue Tache Condos are taking place in the spring of 2023, but we have been busy on building the project’s foundation and our new homeowners have started making their interior selections.

  • Oak & Ash Estates: We launched this bungalow development located in The Oaks neighbourhood of West Winnipeg this Summer and have been steadily selling the suites as they’ve been released for sale in a tiered system. We have started construction on these stunning 1500+ square foot homes, with foundations poured for the first six suites starting next week. Our first possessions are expected in early Fall 2022.
  • Flora CondominiumsThis 24 unit four-plex townhome development in Sage Creek has been met by popular demand by homebuyers. We are nearly at our half way point in constructing these units and are looking forward to launching our next Sage Creek development, Flora North Condominiums which will offer 2 bedroom multi-level suites with optional basement development.

  • Rise Phase 2: While our team has been busy selling out Phase 1 of The Rise Condos in Bridgwater, our trades and construction team have been building Phase 2 of the development which faces South Town Road. With some new floor plan layouts, 3 bedroom Everest plan we have started selling Phase 2 with great success.

STREETSIDE PROJECTS ON THE MOVE!

  • We’ve been keeping busy this year constructing Phase 2 of The Charles Condominiums at 545 Dale Blvd and excited to announce that the development is now all move-in ready. With new, larger floor plans available in this phase, we have seen a great surge of interest from homebuyers who needed more space.
  • Amber Grove Condominiums: Since launching this development located in Amber Trails in 2019, we have sold over half of the total 117 units, which is quite impressive! To date we have completed 7 buildings, 3 buildings are in the finishing stage, and 4 buildings remain to be constructed in 2022.

LOOKING FORWARD INTO 2022

We are excited to share some of our up-and-coming projects set to launch within the next year.

The Bungalows at Harbour Landing Regina: We have joined forces with Pacesetter Homes Regina to create a new bungalow development, The Bungalows at Harbour Landing! Developed by StreetSide & built by PaceSetter Homes, this exciting development is set to launch in early 2022. Register for updates at thebungalowsregina.ca

The Banks Condominiums on the Red: Located on St.Vital’s St.Mary’s Road, these luxury condominiums will offer river facing views, underground parking, and an outstanding location. Stay tuned for more information on the launch of this exciting development.

North Point Estates: With much success in the Amber Trails area, we will be building a townhome development just East of Amber Grove Condominiums in the Aurora at North Point area. These townhomes will offer two levels of living space, three bedrooms with attached garage.

Bison Run: Located in Waverley West, this new development is bordered between Bridgwater Forest, Bridgwater Centre, South Pointe and is near the University of Manitoba campus. Stay tuned!
