Canada Day 2018 Events in Winnipeg

There are so many incredible events happening throughout Winnipeg this weekend for Canada Day - so we've rounded up a short list of our faves, with many being within walking distance of some of our condominium locations. Canada Day at The Forks
Celebrate the true north strong and free with a full day of family-friendly activities, performances and celebration, ending with a spectacular fireworks show at 11PM!
 
Canada Day at Assiniboine Park
Join in on an afternoon of family-friendly fun that includes entertainment at the Lyric Theatre, a citizenship ceremony, bouncy castles, food trucks, face painting and more! Take note there will not be fireworks this year.

Osborne Village Canada Day Street Festival
Manitoba's largest and longest running street festival has been extended to 2 whole days this year! Featuring everything Osborne and Canada, this is an event you don't want to miss.
 
The Transcona Biz Canada Day Festival
There are no fireworks at Assiniboine Park this year but the Transcona BIZ and Buhler Park are once again partnering up to bring fireworks back to Transcona. From a pancake breakfast, to games, dancers and more, this event is a great option for T-cona locals.
 
Northern Touch Music Festival
The Northern Touch Music Festival at Market Square runs all weekend and pays homage to the pioneers of Canadian Hip-Hop.
Sage Creek Canada Day Celebration
The Sage Creek Residents’ Association is hosting their 4th annual Canada Day Celebration. The celebration is packed with fun activities for the whole family, with the main event taking place at Parc Ron Duhamel Park with an outdoor market and live music and entertainment. There will be food trucks, child-friendly activities, raffles and prizes, a petting zoo, and fireworks courtesy of Qualico Communities.
 
Canada Day at CMHR
Celebrate Canada Day at the Museum! They've got music, games and free cupcakes, and best of all, you can do both the CMHR and the Forks celebrations without having to get in your car.

Also, come visit our display suites for open house hours on Saturday, but please note we will be closed on Sunday, July 1st to celebrate Canada Day. Happy birthday Canada!
