Green Initiatives

StreetSide Developments has undertaken several measures that will reduce its carbon footprint and benefit the environment. These initiatives include experimenting with geothermal heat pumps, building Manitoba Hydro Power Smart buildings, and Qualico's tree planting and wood recycling program which significantly reduce natural gas consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.

Constructed a LEED silver certified head office building for Qualico
in Sage Creek, Winnipeg.

Heritage Winnipeg Presentation Award for Excellence
 in Residential Conservation for District Condos' 110 James Avenue (2014) & District Condos' 132 James Avenue (2015).

First Developer to introduce income-generating condominium properties in the city with Parkline Townhomes.

Initiated two of the first transit-oriented developments in the city, Parkline Townhomes and Metro Condominiums, located in South Osborne next to the Fort Rouge Rapid Transit Station.

Construction Safety Association of Manitoba Certificate of Recognition (CORTM) - the ultimate accreditation to verify companies that have implemented a comprehensive heath and safety program.
